I am a family medicine doctor in Korea.
When I was in my medical residency, one of my friends who were very smart and muscular told me that whenever fasting time lengthen, my body would be destroyed. After then, I ate so much all the time. I got non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, hypertriglyceridemia, abdominal obesity and irregular heart beat. I started my low carb high fat diet in 2013. All the symptoms disappeared.
I translated Robert Lustig's lecture "Sugar the bitter truth" and "Fructose 2.0" into korean language as well as "The Big Fat Surprise" by Nina Teicholz.
In 2014, I found that korean women eating more fat were leaner and healthier than less fat eaters after analyzing the database from Korea Health and Nutrition Examination Survey. I also found there was no relationship between sodium consumption and blood pressure. I have been researching on my own way.
