My philosophy of health involves looking back at our roots from over 10,000 years ago. What we find is that we ate off the land, we participated in hunting and foraging, we moved a lot, we rested, we played into our adult years; and we did it all under the beautiful rays of the sun. Our biology hasn't changed and what we require today is no different. We can use this knowledge as a framework to achieve optimal health and vitality in the modern day.
I don't focus on will power as unless you're incredibly driven, it doesn't last. The changes I make are natural and easy to keep up as they work with your body. Instead of starving you of carbohydrates, we replace them with nutritious natural fats that promote the bodies ability to burn fat efficiently (yes, fat is your new best friend). Once my clients have made the switch to becoming a fat burner (usually around 21 days) life gets a lot easier, as we don't need to manage our days around eating carbohydrates for energy, or have to deal with those pesky cravings!
Becoming a fat burner is the first part. After this, creating your ideal body becomes easy and I concentrate on getting my clients to move more through walking. Walking is so important. It's easy, it's free and you gain mental and physical benefits immediately.
Even with just these 2 things in place your health will skyrocket from what it once was.
